I get emails often asking how I stay so motivated to stick to my clean eating and hard training. Believe it or not I get more emails asking about motivation than I do about my diet and training regimens. Quite honestly I like that. Why? because the mind is VERY powerful and if your mind isn’t in the right place your body will follow.
It’s not that I train hard or eat well day in and day out because I simply just want to look good. It’s a whole lot more than that. The way I have trained my brain to consistently stick to a plan satisfies something so much more deeper. Knowing that I full control over my mind and body is one of the best feelings ever. I understand when people say, “It’s just so hard, I can’t do it.” However, what I don’t understand is why people allow this inner weakness to continue to run their life. Is your brain really that powerful that it has you tied down by handcuffs?
When I really started taking my eating and training a lot more seriously I used to get a lot of people who would think I was just trying to better than him, her, them. My come back. “Do you really think I train my mind and body while dieting every day just to be better than you?” It takes a strong minded individual to stick to any plan EVERY SINGLE DAY. Why do you think when you come across someone like such you cant help but think you should step your game up. I have always wanted to be better than I was yesterday. I strive to reach a goal upon a goal subconsciously. This is why I breath eating well and training hard.

It was a great turn out Thursday night here at Total MMA Studios as many of our members got a rare opportunity to train with Grandmaster Fransisco Mansur. Throughout the seminar Grandmaster Mansur not covered a variety of techniques with our members but also shared his philosophies and thoughts on the Jiu-jitsu. The coaches and staff were very happy with the turn out and hopes the grandmaster can visit us again soon!
