Attention BTT Members!!!

For those of you that will be competing at the upcoming IBJJF World championships tournament below is the link clarifying what can and cant be worn on that day to compete. Competitors must where black board shorts and a rashguard with the sleeves being the color of their current rank. As far as patches go the link will show where patches are allowed on the the shorts.

The Total MMA studios staff can order the required rashguards for you but you need to place your order asap in order to get them in time. The rashguard will come with our team logo and the required sleeve color for rank.

A native of Brazil Ana has spend the majority of her life on the mat competing in jiu-jitsu and MMA, her knowledge of combat sports is very extensive and the coaching staff is ecstatic to have her. Attention Total MMA Studio Members!!!

Come join us on Saturday October 1st as we will be putting on a martial arts demonstration at the Tustin Tiller Days event at the Columbus Tustin Park here in Tustin, California. The demo will begin at 3:15PM and feature the Total MMA coaching staff as they will be performing techniques from a variety of martial arts we instruct on daily. So be sure to make it out that day and support our instructors as they demonstrate the beauty of the martial arts to a live audience.

Riding the wave from Saturday’s success the BTT Orange County members that stepped on to mat Sunday for the nogi Nationals showed why the BTT logo is one of the best jiu-jitsu teams in California! We would like to extend our congratulations to all our competitors that placed today and also extend a thank you to those members who came to fight and left it all on the mat!!!

An early weight cut issue would not stop BTT black belt and UFC superstar Rousimar “Toquinho” Palhares from showing the ADCC fans why he one of the most feared submission artist in MMA! Competing in the under 89kg division Toquinho would finish both of his opponents Dan Schon and David Avellan via leg lock submission Saturday morning to secure his spot in the semi final bracket and with only 2 matches left the BTT blackbelt is heavily favored to win the division.

The whole Total MMA / BTT Orange County family would like to say congratulations to our BTT Orange County Jiu-jitsu team, as most of our members competing yesterday would take home a gold metal in there respected divisions!
